Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress, producer, playwright as well as an educator for St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the child of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of plays as a child and observing her mother at work. While still a small girl, she appeared in a variety of commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto in Ontario for the purpose of pursuing her acting. Over the years that followed, she eventually moved in Los Angeles. She was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' training located in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year the year 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism at the time and Seth Cooperman got wed in the month of December in Fredericton. In April of 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows with the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's same sex relationship, with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo) is featured on CNN as being among the all-time favorites television Couples. E! named it "the most popular television Couple" of 2013.
