Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is an author. She founded The Huffington Post, is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Thrive Global as well an writer of 15 novels. Arianna Huffington is a writer, television personality, philanthropist as well as the founder and editor of The Huffington Post. Originating from Greece she was able to move to England at the age of 16 and was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The infamous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it when she was 21. After her graduation, she became a well-known right-wing syndicated reporter. A few more years later she created The Huffington Post which featured critiques of the current political landscape. The celebrity she enjoyed enabled her to get a variety of famous people to share their opinions about current affairs, as well as politics and culture. The way she lived her life was determined by the closeness she had to her mother and her bond with her dad, despite being extremely close to the latter. At a young age she showed the leadership abilities that she is still known for. At the age of 16, she moved over into England in the United Kingdom for her higher education. At Girton College Cambridge. While in college she joined Cambridge Union, a college debate group. As the third woman president, and also the first foreigner she served as the head of Cambridge Union. In 1972, she graduated with an MA in Economics. Following her graduation, she was employed as a critic for a newspaper column and a television host. Also, with Bernard Levin she appeared on an edition of Face the music.
